Annual Concert · Chorale Christus Regnat

iBweranganzo

Where worship meets culture, an evening of choral excellence, Rwandan heritage, and community.

About the Concert

More than a concert

iBweranganzo, meaning a gathering place in Kinyarwanda, is the annual concert of Chorale Christus Regnat (CCR). Inaugurated in 2023, it brings together over 70 voices in an evening of gospel hymns, classical orchestration, and Rwandan traditional music.

The concert was born from a simple conviction: that music has the power to unite people in praise, awaken joy, and stir the spirit. Each edition carefully weaves songs in Kinyarwanda, English, French, and Latin, a multilingual repertoire designed to speak to every soul in the room.

Beyond the music, iBweranganzo carries a social purpose. The Dusangire Lunch campaign, launched at the first edition, raises funds to provide daily school lunches for children from low-income families, aligning with Rwanda's national school-feeding program.

Social Mission

Dusangire Lunch

Every ticket sold at iBweranganzo contributes to the Dusangire Lunch campaign, providing daily school lunches for children from low-income families attending school near Regina Pacis-Remera Parish.

The campaign aligns with Rwanda's national school-feeding program, turning an evening of music into a sustained act of community care that outlasts the concert itself.
